Lake Granbury Newcomers Club offers members a wide variety of activities in which they may get to know others with shared interests or challenge themselves to learn something new. Known as one of the few games that stimulate both sides of your brain, Bridge may also boost your immune system! The Bridge ladies meet on Thursdays, except for General Meeting days.
We have eleven Bunco groups of 12 that meet in members’ homes throughout the year to play this dice game. It’s easy to learn and fun!
Get those creative juices flowing. This group meets the 2nd Tuesday at studios around Granbury and the greater Fort Worth area, learning to create paintings, jewelry, crafts and more. Learn a new skill while enjoying time with friends.
This is a social time for individuals and couples. We gather in members’ homes the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Everyone brings an appetizer to share, and brings their own beverage.
Singles and couples who enjoy wine are invited to join this wine sampling group that meets the 4th Friday of the month, unless otherwise noted. Bring a bottle of wine and snack to share, as well as your own wine glass.
Similar to Canasta, this is a medieval card game in pursuit of Lords, Ladies, Jokes, Jesters and Villains. Members meet the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays.

Enjoy this aristocratic Chinese game of four players per table with various tiles. A very small amount of time and effort is needed to learn the principles and play. We meet each Friday at a local restaurant.
For those who love movies or just want to participate in a local outing with other gals. We usually grab a bite to eat, then head to the movies. Matinee Movie group meets the 3rd Thursday of the month.
Members who share in interest in all kinds of needlework, i.e. knitting, crocheting, quilting, beading, etc. meet for a show and tell of their projects. These ladies meet the 1st Tuesday of the month in a member’s home and the hostess provides lunch.
French for 11, this card game is similar to Phase 10 but uses regular decks of playing cards. This light-hearted group meets every 2nd and 4th Thursday at a local restaurant with room for playing cards. Bring 16 quarters!
